Admission is open to all pupils irrespective of caste or creed. As a rule, children are admitted to LKG. Admissions to other classes are subject to seat availability and will be based on an entrance test.

Admission to the Senior Secondary Section (Class XI) is based on merit. However, students of Holy Cross Convent School are given reasonable weightage. All students who have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (AISSE, ICSE, SSLC) are eligible for admission to Class XI.

A student must have a minimum of 85% attendance for promotion to higher classes and to be eligible for the Board Examination. A deficiency of up to 15% can be condoned by the principal on medical grounds.
